calendar May. 25, 2020user-iconTXNDT

An advertisement or course catalogue can tell you a lot about nondestructive training courses, but nothing matches the real experience of time in a lab.

Read today’s article for a sneak preview into a day inside our NDT labs!

Expert Supervisors

At TXNDT, we pride ourselves in the high quality staff of instructors and technicians that make up our team. When you step into our labs, you can rest assured that you are receiving the highest quality education.

One of our star instructors is Garrett Ehler, ASNT/ACCP Level III. Mr. Ehler is a graduate of Baylor University. With degrees in both Environmental Science and Psychology, he has a deep understanding of the nondestructive testing field as well as how to individualize his instructional approach to best advise every prospective student.

He has extensive experience in fields often served by nondestructive testing, having spent a number of years both in construction and in the utility industry.

Ehler focuses on providing his students with theories and science behind each course offered as well as how to practically apply their coursework to real-world situations.

Any aspiring NDT technician can trust that they are in great hands with an instructor of Ehler’s caliber.

Hands-On Experience

At TXNDT, we know-- as instructors and as inspectors-- that hands-on experience is crucial for becoming a qualified NDT technician.

In our NDT labs, don’t expect to sit through hours and hours of lecture and walk out with a certificate. We know that humans aren’t sponges and that the only way to truly test your knowledge is by putting it to task.

In our NDT labs, technicians in training will get ample practice in their testing disciplines before they move out into the field.

Our small class sizes ensure that each student gets the time and attention they need to fully grasp all material and feel prepared to step into the field after nondestructive testing courses.

Course Offerings

Those seeking NDT certification can expect a variety of subjects offered in our NDT labs. Depending on the course you choose, you may receive training in Level I or Level II courses for Liquid Penetrant Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, and Visual Inspection.

Don’t see the course you’re looking for? Just give us a call! We periodically offer courses in other NDT disciplines, such as radiographic testing, welding, and more.

At TXNDT, our primary focus is making sure that each technician we train is fully prepared to head into the workforce.

Since the requirements of an NDT technician can change from job to job, the expert instructors at TXNDT ensure that all prospective technicians are qualified to take on whatever their next job throws at them.

From introductory NDT courses to NDT level 3 certification, we take an active approach to educating all of our students and encourage all prospective technicians to take an active role in their own learning.

If you or your staff are looking for ways to expand your skills and broaden your career opportunities through nondestructive testing courses, consider NDT certification.

But don’t trust just any NDT school. If you’re looking for a top-tier experience, give us a call today at 281-231-0001 or check out our website for more information.
